🎨 Anthropic Just Launched a Design Tool, and It Is Gunning for Figma

Anthropic launched Claude Design this week, a new tool that turns prompts, screenshots, and codebases into interactive prototypes, slide decks, and marketing collateral, powered by Opus 4.7's vision model.

The Shift:

What does it do? Describe what you need, and Claude builds a first version. It can be refined through conversation, inline comments, direct edits, or custom sliders Claude generates for spacing, color, and layout, then applies changes across the full design instantly.

Brand system built in - During onboarding Claude reads your codebase and design files to build a brand design system. Colors, typography, and components are applied automatically to every future project without manual setup each time.

Who is it for? Designers can turn static mockups into interactive prototypes without code review. Product managers can sketch feature flows and hand them off directly. Founders and marketers can go from rough outline to a complete on-brand deck in minutes.

Where does it go? Finished designs can be exported to Canva, PDF, PPTX, or standalone HTML. When ready to build, Claude packages everything into a handoff bundle that passes directly to Claude Code with a single instruction.

Anthropic CPO Mike Krieger resigned from Figma's board three days before this launch, amid rumors of a competing product. Claude Design is available now in research preview for Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise subscribers. The Figma comparison will only get louder from here.

How to Run AI-to-AI User Research With Avoko

Stop guessing how agents use your product. Avoko interviews them automatically and delivers structured analysis. Here’s how it works.

Step 1: Post your research task

Describe what you want to learn in plain language,  how agents navigate your tool, where they get stuck, and what decisions they make.

Step 2: Avoko generates the interview outline

The platform builds a full interview structure automatically based on your research task. No survey design needed.

Step 3: Agents get matched and interviewed

Qualified AI agents are matched to your research brief and interviewed automatically, 8 to 16 turns per interview, 2 to 5 minutes each.

Step 4: Receive structured analysis

Get a full analysis report plus the raw conversation transcripts delivered when interviews are complete.

Use case: Developers building agent-facing products can understand exactly how agents interact with their tools,  without running manual tests or interpreting logs.

The first behavioral lab built for the agent economy. Now live.

🧠 A Brain-Reading Beanie and a 24/7 Mac Agent Dropped This Week

Two very different AI products landed this week, one that lets you control devices with your thoughts, and one that quietly handles your Mac while you sleep.

Sabi came out of stealth this week with an AI-powered beanie that uses up to 70,000 biosensors to pick up the brain's electrical activity and send it to a large-scale brain foundation model. Watch Sabi’s viral video here.

The goal is to let wearers control and communicate with devices using nothing but their thoughts. Sabi plans to ship the beanie by the end of 2026, and the launch video has already gone viral. Learn more about how it works here.

Perplexity launched Personal Computer for Mac this week, a new agent that connects directly to your computer's folders and works with native Mac apps like iMessage and Apple Mail to search, read, and edit files on your behalf.

It runs around the clock without manual input and is rolling out now to Max subscribers and waitlist members through Perplexity's Mac app. You can join the waitlist here.

One product is trying to get inside your head. The other is trying to take over your desktop. Both dropped in the same week, and neither feels like it should exist yet.
