🤖 Anthropic Let Claude Agents Buy and Sell on Behalf of Its Own Employees
Anthropic published results from Project Deal this week, a one-week experiment where Claude agents handled real negotiations for 69 employees in a private Slack marketplace, completing 186 deals worth over $4,000.

The Shift:
How It Actually Worked - Each employee got a $100 budget and a short Claude interview to set their goals. From there, agents took over completely, posting listings, making offers, fielding counteroffers, and reaching agreements entirely in natural language with no prebaked negotiation protocol.
Opus Agents Outperformed Haiku Agents - Identical items fetched $3.64 more on average under Opus agents. One folding bike sold for $65 via Opus but only $38 via Haiku. The capability gap between models translated directly into real dollar differences in negotiated outcomes.
Users Did Not Notice the Difference - Despite Opus outperforming Haiku on objective measures, fairness ratings were essentially identical, 4.05 for Opus users and 4.06 for Haiku users on a 7-point scale. Participants were broadly satisfied regardless of which model represented them.
The Catch That Matters - Nearly half of the participants 46% said they would pay for the service. But Anthropic explicitly warned that policy and legal frameworks for agent commerce simply do not exist yet, a significant blocker before anything like this could scale beyond a controlled experiment.
Project Deal is one of the clearest demonstrations yet of AI agents operating autonomously in a real economic context. The technology clearly works. The infrastructure, regulation, and accountability frameworks needed to deploy it at scale are still a long way behind.

💪How to Enforce Brand Rules on Every AI-Generated Deck With Templafy
Your team is prompting presentations. Your brand has no say in what comes out. Here's how to fix that once.

Step 1: Upload your brand assets and rules: Set your approved fonts, colors, templates, and content guardrails inside Templafy. This happens once, everything after that runs automatically.
Step 2: Connect to PowerPoint: Templafy works directly inside PowerPoint. No new tool for your team to learn or adopt.
Step 3: Team prompts as normal: Describe the deck in plain language. Templafy generates it using your brand rules in the background; your team never has to think about compliance.
Step 4: Every output is client-ready by default: No rogue fonts. No off-brand slides. No policing decks before they go out. Brand compliance is built into every generation automatically.

🤖 Anthropic and Microsoft Both Made Their AI Tools More Capable This Week
Claude got built-in memory and new app connectors, while Microsoft made agentic mode the default across its entire Office suite. two moves that push AI assistants closer to doing real work autonomously.

The Shift:
Anthropic announced that Claude Managed Agents now have built-in memory, letting agents learn and retain context from every session. Memories are stored as editable files that users can review or update directly at any time.
Anthropic also expanded Claude's connectors this week to include TripAdvisor, Booking.com, Spotify, Instacart, Resy, and Uber, broadening Claude's reach well beyond work tasks into everyday life.
Microsoft announced that agent mode is now the default in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office apps. Copilot can now take multi-step action across documents, worksheets, and presentations without users needing to switch modes manually.
Microsoft said recent model advances are what made the shift possible, with Copilot now acting as a true collaborator across its tools rather than a passive assistant waiting to be prompted.
Both updates point in the same direction, AI tools that remember context, connect to more of your life, and take action across multiple steps without constant hand-holding. The gap between AI assistant and AI coworker is closing fast.
