📊 Claude Just Moved Into Excel

Anthropic is pushing Claude deeper into everyday operator workflows, and this time it’s spreadsheets. Claude in Excel brings an AI assistant into Microsoft Excel so teams can audit logic, update assumptions, and clean up messy workbooks without living inside formulas all day.

The Shift:

1) Claude now sits inside your spreadsheet - Claude runs in a sidebar inside Excel and can read your full workbook, including nested formulas and cross-tab dependencies, making it easier to debug complex sheets without manually tracing every link.

2) It explains changes with receipts - Instead of vague answers, Claude can give cell-level citations and walk through why something is happening, which helps when you’re reviewing models, fixing errors, or handing off a workbook to someone else.

3) Built to edit without breaking your sheet - You can update assumptions while preserving existing formulas, and new safeguards reduce the risk of Claude overwriting cell contents by mistake, which is usually the biggest fear with AI editing spreadsheets.

After launching in October for Max and Enterprise, Claude in Excel is now open to Pro users too, with support for multiple spreadsheets at once and longer sessions through memory management. It’s Anthropic pushing Claude into real knowledge work, where speed comes from better questions, not better shortcuts.

🤖 How to Deploy Clawdbot in 5 Minutes (No Commands Needed)

You can run Clawdbot on a server without touching the terminal, then control it from your phone anywhere.

1. Deploy on Railway

Create an account, start a new project, pick the Clawdbot template, set a strong password, and hit Deploy.

2. Enable HTTP Proxy (Port 8080)

Open the project settings, edit the domain, and make sure port 8080 is selected.

3. Run the setup

Go to your-railway-domain/setup, choose your model, add your bot token (Telegram, WhatsApp, etc.), and click Run setup.

🧠 Humans& Wants AI to Run the Room

AI tools are great at helping one person move faster, but they still fall apart when the work gets messy and multiplayer. Humans& thinks the next big jump is coordination, not smarter answers, and it’s building a model that can actually manage collaboration.

The Shift:

1) A new AI built for teamwork - Humans& is building a foundation model designed for social intelligence, meaning it can track people, priorities, and long-running decisions instead of acting like a solo assistant that only responds to prompts.

The three-month-old startup raised $480M to build what it calls a “central nervous system” for human plus AI work, aiming to replace or sit above tools like Slack, Google Docs, and Notion.

3) Training the model to think in timelines - They plan to use long-horizon reinforcement learning so the system can plan, act, revise, and follow through over time, instead of optimizing for one-off responses that sound good in the moment.

They also want multi-agent reinforcement learning so the model can coordinate across multiple humans and AIs at once, with memory that improves understanding of each person and how the group should move.

This is a bet that the real bottleneck in AI adoption is not intelligence, it’s alignment across teams. If Humans& can ship, it could reshape how decisions get made, but it will be expensive to build and brutal to defend against the big labs.
