🤖 Google turns Android into an AI-first operating system
Google unveiled Gemini Intelligence, a new AI system built directly into Android devices and workflows. The company also launched Gemini-native laptops and new interaction models designed to reduce typing, clicking, and manual app switching.

The Shift:
1. Cross-app automation - Gemini Intelligence can complete multi-step tasks using voice commands, screenshots, and on-screen context. It launches first on Samsung Galaxy S26 and Pixel 10 before expanding across watches, cars, glasses, and laptops later this year.
2. Smarter browsing tools - Chrome is gaining Gemini-powered browsing, summarization, comparisons, and task automation directly on-device. Google also upgraded Autofill, introduced Create My Widget, and redesigned Android’s interface around its Material 3 Expressive system.
3. Advanced voice cleanup - Google introduced Rambler, a Gemini-powered dictation feature that removes filler words and restructures natural speech into clean messages. It also supports multilingual conversations by switching languages seamlessly within the same sentence.
4. AI native computing - Google launched Gemini-native Google Books with Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer, and Asus, combining Android apps, ChromeOS, Google Play, and Gemini. Its new Magic Pointer understands what users mean simply by pointing at content onscreen.
Google is no longer treating AI like a separate assistant sitting beside your apps. It is turning AI into the interaction layer itself, where screens, cursors, voice, and context all become part of the prompt automatically.

📊 How to Track How AI Platforms Crawl and Interpret Your Site With Profound
ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity are crawling your site right now. Most marketers have no idea what they're finding. Here's how to fix that.

Step 1: Connect your site to Profound - Add your domain to the Profound platform. It starts monitoring how AI crawlers interact with your site automatically.
Step 2: See which AI platforms are crawling you - Get a full breakdown of crawl activity across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and more, frequency, pages visited, and what's being indexed.
Step 3: Understand how AI interprets your content - Profound shows you how each AI platform reads and represents your site, not just whether it crawls, but what it takes away from each page.
Step 4: Identify pages that aren't getting picked up - Find content that AI crawlers are skipping or misreading and understand why. Fix the gaps before they cost you visibility.
Step 5: Track changes over time - Monitor how crawl behavior shifts as you update content, structure, or metadata. Connect what you publish to how AI platforms respond.
The brands showing up in AI answers aren't guessing what works. They're measuring it. You can try Profound here.
⚠️ Google confirms first AI-made zero-day attack
Google’s Threat Intelligence Group revealed the first confirmed case of hackers using AI to help discover and write a zero-day software exploit. The company stopped the attack before it bypassed login protections on a widely used web management platform.

The Shift:
AI-written exploit - Google said hackers used AI assistance to help generate exploit code targeting two-factor authentication systems. Researchers noticed unusually polished code, detailed explainer notes, and even fabricated severity ratings tied to the attack.
Attack stopped early - The exploit was designed to bypass login protections inside a popular web management application. Google worked directly with the affected company to stop the attack before hackers could successfully break through systems.
Bigger threat emerging - Google’s John Hultquist called the discovery “the tip of the iceberg,” while Anthropic warned cybersecurity defenders may only be months ahead of attackers as AI-powered hacking capabilities rapidly improve.
More AI cyber risks - Google also uncovered AI-assisted hacking activity linked to North Korea and Russia, including malicious prompts, automated code generation, and software capable of remotely controlling infected devices through AI-driven systems.
AI is no longer just helping companies build products faster. It is now actively changing cyberwarfare itself, where discovering vulnerabilities, writing exploit code, and scaling attacks can happen dramatically faster than before.

🧩 Prompt of the Day
Identify the Communication Style Your Audience Actually Responds To
Most brands choose a tone based on preference, not performance. The best marketers adapt communication styles based on what builds trust, attention, and action with their audience.
Turn tone of voice into a measurable conversion lever.
Paste the prompt: Drop this into ChatGPT, then fill in your audience and brand details.
