🧠 Meta Just Released an AI Model That Simulates How the Human Brain Works

Meta open-sourced TRIBE v2 this week, an AI model trained on brain scan data from over 700 people that predicts how the brain responds to almost any sight, sound, or piece of text.

The Shift:

A Major Jump in Scale - TRIBE v2 covers 70,000 brain regions, up from 1,000 in the original model, and was trained on over 1,000 hours of brain data from 700+ volunteers exposed to images, podcasts, videos, and text.

More Accurate Than Real Scans - The model's predictions matched population-level brain activity better than most actual fMRI recordings. Real scans are frequently distorted by movement, heartbeats, and noise; TRIBE v2 sidesteps all of that entirely.

No Human Subjects Needed - Researchers can now run virtual brain experiments and test hypotheses without needing human participants for every study. The model already replicated decades of neuroscience findings, correctly identifying brain regions tied to faces, speech, and text.

Meta released the model weights, code, research paper, and a live demo under an open license. Any researcher can now run simulated brain experiments without building the infrastructure from scratch, a meaningful shift for how neuroscience research gets done. Explore the demo here

🤩How to Code With Claude, GPT, and Gemini for Free Using Glass

You’re already paying for Claude Max, ChatGPT, or Gemini. Glass turns those subscriptions into a full coding IDE, no API keys, no usage meters, no surprise bills.

Step 1: Download Glass - Head to editor.glass and download the Mac app. Mac only for now.

Step 2: Connect your existing AI subscriptions - Link your Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini accounts directly. Glass pulls from your existing subscriptions, nothing extra to pay.

Step 3: Describe what you want to build - Type what you need in plain language. Glass handles the vibe coding workflow, describe the product, watch it build.

Step 4: Switch models mid-session - Use Claude Opus 4.6 for complex reasoning, GPT-5.4 for speed, Gemini 3.1 Pro when it fits the task. Switch anytime without leaving the editor.

Step 5: Ship - Glass builds full-stack Next.js apps, Supabase and Stripe integrations, WhatsApp and Discord bots, Shopify stores, and MongoDB backends, all from one interface.

Cursor Pro costs $20/month plus API fees that spike when you actually use it. Glass is a flat fee on top of subscriptions you’re already paying. Same $200 Claude Max subscription. A full coding IDE instead of a chat window. You can download Glass here.

🍎 Apple Is Opening Siri Up to Claude, Gemini, and Other AI Assistants in iOS 27

Apple has plans to let users choose their preferred AI assistant within Siri, moving beyond its current ChatGPT-only setup with the upcoming iOS 27 update.

The Decode:

1. Extensions Replace the ChatGPT Deal - A new feature called Extensions will let users pick their preferred AI directly inside Siri settings. Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, and any App Store chatbot will be eligible, ending OpenAI's exclusive Siri integration that launched in 2024 and reportedly saw minimal use.

2. Siri Itself Is Getting Rebuilt - Apple is also overhauling Siri entirely, with a new chatbot version powered by Google's Gemini models. Extensions will sit alongside this, giving users the option to bypass Siri and go straight to their preferred assistant instead.

3. Apple has a financial angle here, too. - Bloomberg reports that opening Siri to third-party chatbots is also a revenue play. Apple will take a cut of AI subscriptions purchased through the App Store, turning rival AI assistants into another income stream.

Elon Musk's xAI has sued Apple and OpenAI over the existing ChatGPT deal, accusing them of market manipulation. Musk has publicly pushed for Grok to be available on iPhone. Apple will formally announce all of this at WWDC on June 8.
