🚀 OpenAI Expands GPT-5.6 Into A Full AI Workspace

OpenAI unveiled the GPT-5.6 family alongside major ChatGPT updates, combining new flagship models with a unified workspace that brings coding, browsing, and AI agents into one platform.

The Shift:

GPT-5.6 Family Arrives - GPT-5.6 introduces Sol, Terra, and Luna, with Sol leading the lineup through stronger agentic coding, computer use, design capabilities, cybersecurity improvements, and a new Ultra reasoning mode.

Same Pricing, More Capability - OpenAI kept GPT-5.6 pricing in line with GPT-5.5, with Sol at $5/$30 per million tokens and Luna at $1/$6, while revealing that Sol autonomously post-trained Luna.

ChatGPT Work Makes Its Debut - OpenAI introduced ChatGPT Work, a new workspace designed for everyday professional tasks that brings Codex capabilities into a simpler interface similar to Anthropic's Claude Cowork.

Codex Joins ChatGPT Desktop - The Codex app is being folded into ChatGPT's redesigned desktop application, adding a built-in browser, computer control, and Work agent as OpenAI moves toward a unified AI experience.

OpenAI's latest launch extends beyond releasing another model. The company is bringing models, agents, coding tools, and desktop workflows together into a single ecosystem, signaling a broader push toward an all-in-one AI platform.

Same AI software. Wildly different results.

Every company in this dataset bought the same AI capabilities. The difference in results came down to one thing: whether someone inside CX owned it.

One beauty retailer made 202 workflow updates in 30 days — refining as policies changed and new questions came in. Companies without a named owner saw performance stall or decline.

Read the data on what separates AI deployments that work from the ones that stall, and the four questions worth asking before your next AI investment.

💪How to Produce a Full Creative Campaign in One Chat With Higgsfield Supercomputer

No prompts. No presets. No tool-hopping. Describe what you want and Supercomputer builds it.

Step 1: Open Higgsfield Supercomputer Head to higgsfield.ai/supercomputer. Runs in the browser, no installs.

Step 2: Describe your creative in plain language Type what you need, a product ad, a short film, a social campaign. Supercomputer acts as a full AI creative team: it plans the production, picks the right models, and sequences every step automatically.

Step 3: Let it pick the models Supercomputer selects from Higgsfield's full model stack, image, video, audio, motion, based on what your brief actually needs. You never choose a model manually.

Step 4: Review the output Assets render directly in the chat. Images, video clips, and audio come back assembled, not as raw outputs you need to stitch together yourself.

Step 5: Iterate in conversation Describe what to adjust. Change the tone, swap a scene, shift the pacing. Each prompt builds on what was already rendered without starting over.

Step 6: Export and deploy Download your finished assets ready for paid, organic, or anywhere else they need to run.

Meta Opens Muse Spark 1.1 To Developers

Meta released Muse Spark 1.1 through its API, expanding the model beyond its own apps with stronger agent capabilities, computer use, and pricing aimed well below competing frontier models.

The Shift:

Built For Agentic Work - Muse Spark 1.1 is designed for long-running agent tasks, supporting computer use, parallel subagents, cross-app workflows, and a one-million-token context window for complex projects.

Benchmark Results Improve - Meta says Spark 1.1 delivers state-of-the-art or near state-of-the-art performance on agent reasoning and tool use, outperforming Claude Opus 4.8 and GPT-5.5 on several related benchmarks.

Lower API Pricing - API access starts at $1.25 per million input tokens and $4.25 per million output tokens, with Zuckerberg positioning the pricing well below what competing frontier AI labs currently charge.

Public Preview Begins - Developers can access Muse Spark 1.1 through a public preview that includes $20 in free credits, while Meta continues training its larger Watermelon model for release later this year.

Meta is taking its AI strategy beyond consumer products. By opening Muse Spark through an aggressively priced API, the company is positioning itself as a lower-cost alternative for developers building agentic AI applications.
