OpenAI has placed Astra into the highest cybersecurity capability category covered here by its safety framework. The designation signals that frontier AI is becoming powerful enough that access and testing increasingly need stronger controls.

The Shift:

Critical Cyber Capability - OpenAI says Critical models could potentially discover or create zero-day vulnerabilities or conduct cyberattacks without humans directing every individual step.

Astra Shows Its Power - Astra, rumored to be GPT-6, recently solved 10 significant open mathematics and computer science problems, demonstrating capabilities well beyond ordinary chatbot tasks.

Security Gets Tighter - OpenAI is introducing stricter security restrictions, pausing certain internal Astra activities, and bringing in government and third-party testing before allowing broader access.

Industry Risks Grow - The move follows security issues involving OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, and Moonshot. OpenAI clarified that Astra was not involved in the recent Hugging Face hack.

🤑How to find money the government owes you using Claude

Billions in unclaimed funds sit with state and federal agencies. Here's how to find yours.

Step 1: Ask Claude where to search - Go to claude.ai and type: "Help me find unclaimed money owed to me in [your state]. What databases should I check?" Claude points you to your state's official unclaimed property database instantly.

Step 2: Search the official databases - Claude will direct you to:

MissingMoney.com, covers 40+ states in one search
Your state treasurer's website, search your name and past addresses
USA.gov/unclaimed-money, the federal hub covering IRS refunds, lost pensions, failed bank deposits, and unclaimed benefits

Step 3: Search for family members too - Run the same search for parents, grandparents, and former spouses. Unclaimed property transfers to heirs and most people never check.

Step 4: Let Claude help you file the claim - Paste the claim instructions into Claude and ask it to walk you through the paperwork. It tells you exactly what documents to gather and how to submit.

Step 5: Follow up - Most states resolve claims in 60 to 90 days. Ask Claude to draft a follow-up letter if you don't hear back.

Google is turning Maps from a place-search tool into an AI assistant that can help complete everyday tasks. Ask Maps can now order food, find hotels and events, remember conversations, and use personal information when permitted.

Maps Orders Food - Ask Maps can find restaurants along your route based on preferences and add requested dishes directly to your cart. Square and Toast support is rolling out, with Uber Eats coming soon.

Plans Trips Faster - Users can describe the hotel they need, and Maps compares real-time prices and availability. It can also surface nearby concerts, comedy shows, and events with ticket links.

Answers Get Personal - Users can optionally connect Gmail, with Calendar support coming later. Ask Maps can then consider flights, reservations, and hotels when recommending activities, routes, or departure times.

Transit Goes Live - A new transit widget provides real-time delays for buses, trains, subways, and ferries. Maps can also remember previous conversations and resume earlier trip planning when history is enabled.

Google Maps is moving beyond helping users decide where to go toward helping them complete what comes next. Ordering, booking discovery, personalized planning, and live navigation are increasingly happening inside one conversational interface.
