🤖 OpenAI Expands Its Developer Stack with Codex and ChatGPT Apps SDK
OpenAI unveiled a major upgrade to its developer ecosystem by combining Codex’s expansion with the launch of the ChatGPT Apps SDK, positioning its platform as a full creative and engineering engine. Together, these tools transform ChatGPT from a conversational AI into a programmable workspace for both developers and enterprises.

The Shift:
1. Codex Expands Across Tools - With the new Slack integration, users can delegate or ask coding tasks directly in a channel. The Codex SDK lets teams embed the same agent into their own apps and workflows. Admins gain control via analytics dashboards and environment governance.
2. Real-World Developer Impact - Since preview, Codex’s usage has soared 10×, and internally it powers faster development: engineers merge 70% more PRs per week and use automatic code reviews before production.
3. Apps SDK Brings Apps into ChatGPT - The Apps SDK lets developers create interactive, conversational apps inside ChatGPT, powered by Model Context Protocol (MCP). Launch partners include Canva, Booking.com, Spotify, Coursera, and Zillow, reaching over 800M users.
4. New Developer Ecosystem and App Monetization - Apps can be invoked naturally in chats or suggested contextually, creating new engagement loops. OpenAI will launch an App Directory, developer monetization tools, and an Agentic Commerce Protocol for instant in-chat purchases.
This expansion cements OpenAI’s strategy to unify creation, deployment, and distribution under one ecosystem. By merging Codex’s engineering automation with ChatGPT’s app interactivity, OpenAI is building the foundation for an “agentic internet” where apps, agents, and users collaborate seamlessly inside one intelligent environment.

🎬 Turn a Brief Into a Cinematic Ad, No Crew Needed
MovieFlo.ai lets you go from rough idea to polished, lip-synced video in minutes.

No production team. No shoots. Just drop your concept and let AI handle it.
Step 1: Upload Your Brief + Pick a Style
Drop your campaign idea, even a rough sentence works.
Choose a vibe like Film Noir or Product Spotlight, and MovieFlo builds the tone, flow, and story structure automatically.
Step 2: Generate Storyboards + Custom Actors
Scene-by-scene frames are auto-generated.
Upload a face to cast your own actor or use familiar characters/IP.
MovieFlo picks the best image model based on style and cost.
Step 3: Add Voice + Polish + Export
Your actors are lip-synced to your Escript without extra effort.
Trim the final video with the built-in editor, then upscale it with Magnific.
Export and use instantly, launch-ready in one session.
Why It Works
Write, swap, and launch cinematic ads without shoots, full creative control from script to screen, zero production drag.
🧠OpenAI Expands the Agent Era with AgentKit and AMD Partnership
OpenAI unveiled AgentKit alongside a deep hardware alliance with AMD, signaling a unified expansion across both software and infrastructure. Together, they accelerate the path toward scalable, intelligent agent systems, equipping developers to build faster while securing the compute backbone needed to sustain them.

The Shift:
1. AgentKit Simplifies Agent Development - AgentKit introduces a visual Agent Builder, centralized Connector Registry, and ChatKit for chat-based interfaces. Developers like Ramp and LY Corporation built full workflows in under two hours, cutting dev cycles by up to 70%.
2. Evaluation, Safety, and Fine-Tuning Upgrades - New Evals features (datasets, trace grading, and prompt optimization) and open-source Guardrails ensure reliability, safety, and compliance.
3. AMD Deal Brings Major GPU Commitment - OpenAI and AMD agreed on deploying 6 GW of GPUs, beginning with a 1 GW rollout in 2026 using the MI450 series, expanding OpenAI’s compute capacity and diversifies hardware partnerships.
4. Equity Incentive via Warrant - As part of the deal, AMD issued OpenAI a warrant to purchase up to 160 million shares at $0.01 each, enabling a possible ~10% stake tied to performance and deployment milestones.
AgentKit and the AMD partnership represent both ends of OpenAI’s next frontier: software acceleration and compute expansion. By merging low-code agent development with high-scale hardware access, OpenAI is architecting a vertically integrated ecosystem, where intelligent agents can be built, trained, deployed, and monetized entirely within its stack.
